The Path to Reiki and Regression

18/10/2026

... I still remember how it began, right down to the small, ordinary details.

I lay down on a yoga mat and rested my head on a rolled-up towel. I adjusted myself to get comfortable, but the light bothered my eyes. I wanted it to be darker.

"Do you happen to have one of those sleep masks?" I asked Annie.

As it turned out, she did. She was prepared for situations like these and, apparently, for people like me. She even offered me a light blanket in case I got cold.

Before we began, she asked me to make a request, almost a prayer, to my guide, my higher self: to take me to a life that mattered to my present one and show it to me. I didn't really know who I was addressing, but I asked anyway.

Then she began with the breathing.

"Breathe in... and breathe out," she said in a soft, calm voice. "Feel the air moving deep inside you, filling even your stomach."

After several breaths, she asked me to imagine rising upward, into the sky, into space.

That part didn't work very well for me.

"Do you see anything?" she asked quietly. "What's there?"

All I could see were colors. One could say that colors are energies, and perhaps they are, but those energies weren't telling me anything.

Annie seemed to sense that. She told me to come back to her for a moment and listen to her voice again.

Then she led me to a lake.

It was a beautiful lake. At one end stood a rock, and a waterfall descended from it into the water below. It wasn't powerful or roaring, but low and gentle, as though the water were simply pouring itself into the lake. The entire lake lay in the middle of a forest. It was so beautiful.

"Step into the water," Annie said. "Walk toward the waterfall. When you reach it, try to pass through the wall of water in your mind."

I tried.

It worked.

On the other side, I was in another world.

My impression was that I was on Earth, but in a time of wars, in a world that would be ancient to us. More likely during the Dark Ages, when religions were still taking shape. I can say that now, after listening to the regression recording many times. Back then, I had no dates and no names—only a feeling.

To be honest, I wasn't seeing everything clearly. There were images, but they were woven together with sensations. It was like waking up in the middle of the night and walking to another room for a glass of water. You're half asleep and can barely see in the darkness, yet somehow you know exactly where you are. You know where the door is and how many steps it takes to reach it.

I was in some kind of watchtower with a spiral staircase. As I climbed, I noticed small stained-glass windows set into the walls. Perhaps they were small and colorful simply to let a little light reach the stairway.

Annie asked me about my clothing. The only thing I was certain of was that I was wearing a pointed hat or helmet—something resembling a small tent.

Later, I searched online and found that the ancient Phrygians and Thracians had worn similar headgear. Given where I was born in this life, I thought it entirely possible I had been born again in the lands of my ancestors.

"Jump forward one year," Annie said. "What are you doing? Tell me where you are and what you see."

I was in a military camp. Of that I was absolutely certain. White tents and soldiers surrounded me.

I was a leader, though of low rank. I commanded a small group of men, something like a special unit. We were assigned quick missions.

The next moment, my men and I stood in a beautiful green meadow. A small house stood there, and several women were outside. They wore something like long white gowns that reached the ground.

We attacked them.

"Why did you attack them?" Annie asked.

"Because they know."

"What do they know?"

"They know about the herbs and the flowers. It's not good for them to know."

A little later, she asked:

"And what did you do to them?"

I answered calmly.

"We killed them. We killed every last one of them."

"Why did you kill them?" Annie asked again.

"Because they know. They know about the herbs..."
